Perpetually Persistent Cowl

Four cowls down, one to go in my attempt to knit 5 Cowls in 50 Days. This is indeed the Great Cowl Knitalong!

Perpetually Persistent Cowl

The Perpetually Persistent Cowl really tried my patience — the combination of bulky yarn and cables nearly made me give up. The yarn is Patons UpCountry, a discontinued yarn that’s been hanging around in my stash for at least six or seven years. It’s an unplied roving-like yarn that shed as I knit, leading to multiple coughing fits. (Maybe it’s no surprise that it was discontinued?)

Now that it’s all knit up, however, the shedding has stopped and it’s Super Cozy — perfect for today since it’s -15°C!

LOVE! This would be right up my alley… bulky yarn is my favorite. Although I could do without the shedding too. Are you planning another knit along any time soon?

I love the chunky yarn and the colour is so nice! Great job! So cozy and cute.
